Demi Lovato is reportedly stable after her overdose Tuesday. A source has told People Lovato is “okay and stable” after being treated with Narcan, the prescription medication used to block the effects of opioids.
Demi Lovato was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday for an apparent heroin overdose, TMZ reports.
Lovato has long been open about her struggles with substance abuseand eating disorders. However, in June, she released a new single, “Sober,” in which she announced that she relapsed following six years of sobriety. She sings in the ballad, “Momma I’m so sorry I’m not sober anymore / And Daddy please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor / To the ones who never left me, we’ve been down this road before / I’m so sorry, I’m not sober.”
